The Board of Directors of the Walden on Lake Houston Community Services Association, Inc. will hold a regular meeting on July 25, 2017, at the Walden Country Club. Open Session is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m., and visitors are welcome.
Beginning in April, the Members of the Beautification Committee will be out in full force looking at yards. One yard will be selected each month as the winner of the contest. The judging will be done by a team of five, each bringing their recommendations to the table. The winner will have a sign placed in the front yard and will receive a gift card from that month’s sponsor along with a certificate for two (2) for Pasta Dinner night at the Country Club.
The rules are as follows for the process:
1. Each member of the Beautification Committee will be assigned specific villages that they will be drive/ride thru between the 25th and 27th of each month. Two (2) homes/yards from each village will be recommended to the overall committee.
2. The overall committee will review the recommended houses and make the final selection of the winner for that month by the 29th of month.
3. The winner will be notified on the 1st of the following month and the sign will be placed in their yard for the entire month.
4. No house can win more than one per year and no committee members are eligible to receive the award.
